Vans x Frog Skateboards Collection
Quirky, Playful Collection Focuses on Fun & Inclusivity
Both brands’ creative spirits meld, with help from Brighton Zeuner
and Nick Michel
Fresh Dose of Upbeat Optimism
Vans is teaming up with fun-loving, tongue-in-cheek Frog Skateboards on a new collection that delivers a fresh dose of upbeat optimism, quirky graphics, and a pop of color for which Frog has become known.
Founded in 2015 by two friends, Frog is less of a brand than it is a group of likeminded people who’ve come together through skateboarding. New York City transplants Chris Millic and Jesse Alba place Frog’s focus on fun and inclusivity, with graphics that serve as exercises in self-expression above all else—principles that comes through loud and clear in Vans’ latest short video about the brand and rising talent Nick Michel.
Collection that Includes Both Men’s and Women’s Pieces
Sharing the same creative spirit with Vans, Frog Skateboards joins forces with the original action sports footwear and apparel brand on a first-of-its-kind collection that includes both men’s and women’s pieces. The offering is led by the Skate Old Skool, which is marked by a silicone charm Sidestripe that pops against an otherwise all-black upper. Playful elements emerge across the offering, including a multi-colored charm Checkerboard pattern and complementary foxing stripe on the Classic Slip-on.
Through a unique approach to skateboarding, Frog has earned its place as the torchbearer of fun within the evolving world of skateboarding. Garnering collaborations with brands like Noah NY, Frog has come into its own with Lo-Fi videos that include the likes of Brighton Zeuner and Nick Michel.
