Primitive Skateboards Demo Signing Sept. 24th 2017

Primitive Skateboards Demo Signing hit Southside Skatepark in Houston, Texas on September 24th 2017.  Entitled the Primitive CAN Help stop of their south central US tour they came in support of Hurricane Harvey survivors.  Primitive Skateboards and Southside Skatepark requested that attendees bring non-perishable canned goods to help fill food pantries in need.  In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey food pantries were hit hard and their inventories depleted rapidly.  We were blown away by the outpouring of support from young people bringing in large bags of canned goods.  It was amazing to be a part of an initiative that raised 833 lbs. of non-perishable canned goods from many first time philanthropists.  Not only did those attending witness the amazing skateboarding of  Diego NajeraCarlos RibeiroNick TuckerTrent McClungDevine Calloway and others they were also treated to a meet and greet with their favorite Primitive Pros.  Team Manager and all around great guy Spanish Mike and regional rep Jorge Villagomez also hooked up the skateboarders on hand to a Best Trick Event that they were all welcome to skate and a super fat product toss.

Skateboarders and Spectators Participated in a Best Trick and Product Toss

Diego Najera is one of Primitive Skateboard’s new hot shoes and did not disappoint at the Primitive Skateboards Demo Signing.  Literally putting on a clinic on the bump to ledge with nollie heel back tail and this treflip crook just to name a few.  Carlos Ribeiro put down so many tricks skateboarding the demo the entire time and took a moment to let us know he really loved the street course.  It really showed as he continued to wreck it for over two hours with the rest of the team.  Trent McClung was officially pro’ed just a couple weeks prior and this was his first demo in the professional ranks of Primitive Skateboards.  Nick Tucker kept everything he did popped high and proper.  Primitive Amateur’s on hand were Robert Neal, Marek Zaprazny and Wacson Mass all solid upcoming skateboarders.

Cheers and Congratulations to Trent McClung on Turning Pro for Primitive Skateboards
