Nike SB Interstate 58 Tour stop here at Southside Skatepark Friday April 6th 2018 7pm till close. We just received the news that Nyjah Huston, Alex Olson, Bobby Worrest, Daan Van Der Linden, Jacopo Carozzi, Cyrus Bennett, Yuto Horigome and Blake Carpenter will be attending. Just a few out of this list of eight attending would have been enough to bring out many skateboarders in this region. Southside is proud to host so many amazing skateboarders and hope you will join us for this not to be missed event.
Nyjah Huston released his first signature model the Nike SB Nyjah 1 and jaw-dropping Til’ Death part just days ago. Alex Olson and Cyrus Bennett are known affiliates of the brand 917. Bobby Worrest is a one time Houston resident and Southside Skatepark local attending as well. European skateboarder of the year Daan Van Der Linden of Anti Hero will be on hand as well. This Interstate 58 Tour is so stacked the demo should be a great time for all those attending. Blake Carpenter is Toy Machine pro and you can see some of his more recent footage in this PUSH part from 2017. We first saw Yuto Horigome’s skateboarding in Street League and since then have been seeing more and more of his street skateboarding through his Instragram feed. Making his US debut Jacopo Carozzi will also be attending and often times it’s that very first time you see someone skate that impact you the most so keep an eye out for him.
The last Nike SB tour to make its way through Southside Skatepark was Don’t Fear the Sweeper 2009. That was nine years ago so naturally when we received word that the team might be making it’s way through Houston we were excited. Once it was announced who would be on the tour stop itself things became that much more interesting. We hope you and your friends make your way over to Southside Skatepark April 6th 7pm-close for a demo and autograph signing that you are not going to want to miss, ever.
