Christmas Break Skateboarding Day Camps at Southside Skatepark meet December 27th and 28th and a second day camp January 3rd and 4th.  We do offer easy Online Enrollment.  Flexible attendance is here to accommodate even our busiest families.  We look forward to working with your skateboarder to help them develop good techniques.  It’s good to start skateboarding at one of our Skateboarding Day Camps as we can avoid allowing your skateboarder to develop bad habits. Often it is very basic beginning instruction such as how to push, how to set your feet and coaching them to bend their knees.  Some of the earliest instruction can even include how to fall properly as to not hurt yourself.  This an so much more will be discussed with beginners.  Whereas our more advanced groups will be working on tricks and widening their current abilities with the help of more advanced instructors.  These skateboarding day camps are a great time for the kids and the instructors.

Camp meets 10am to 2pm and feel free to arrive a little bit early to help expedite your check in process.  Your skateboarder will be grouped based on skill level and an instructor will help them improve as much as we are able.  Jason’s Deli Kids Meal orders will be taken at check-in.  Daily Southside Skatepark Admission wristbands provided.  That allows your skateboarder to stay and skateboard after 2 pm when Southside Skatepark opens to the public. This is also great for parents that may have a conflict and can not pick up immediately at the end of camp.  Southside Skatepark is indoor allowing our skateboarding camp to take place rain or shine.  We have been hosting skateboard day camps for a little over fifteen years.  We are always amazed at how much the skateboarders progress in such a short time.  Some basic goals for our beginners are learning to ride the transition ramp features of the skatepark.  This is in hopes of teaching them to drop in on the mini ramp or quarter pipe.  We do have more advanced skateboarders enroll also.  We accommodate them by suggesting challenging new ideas that they can apply to their current skill set towards achieving.
