11:00 am Registration, Practice, Check In
1:00 pm Contest
2:00 pm Competition Begins
- 5 skater jams
- 10 mins each
- Skate in order until you fall
- Top 5 advance to Finals
- Finals are a 12 min jam
4:30 pm Finals Round
- Awards immediately following
- After-party TBD
5:00 pm Awards
Can I participate?
This event is invitation only, and for skateboarders ages 18 and up. If you are interested in participating, please reach out to info@southsideskatepark.com. All invited participants will be required to sign a waiver on site before participating in the event.
Can anyone attend?
Red Bull LEDGEnds is open to spectators of all ages and free to attend. If you are wanting to participate email info@southsideskatepark.com
Food on Site
Food and Drink options will be available for purchase, and of course Red Bull will be available
Will there be prizing?
A prize pot of $2,000 will be up for grabs. Details on judging criteria below.
- 1st: $500, 2nd: $300, 3rd: $200, 4th: $100, 5th: $100
- Special Award 1: $200
- Special Award 2: $200
- Special Award 3: $200
- Extra Cash: $200
- Skaters are judged on overall impression of performance in their jam
- Judges analyze the following elements when scoring
- Commitment and degree of difficulty
- Creativity and use of the Red Bull feature and other ledge focused obstacles
- Combination of tricks with more emphasis on distance traveled through slides and grinds
- Speed, style, flow, and power
