Go Skate Day at Southside is happening Wednesday June 20th 2-9pm. This year with so much skateboarding related events happening in Houston on Thursday, we thought supporting skateboarding the entire day as we have for 24 years would be the best way to kick off the holiday. Go Skate Day originally began as an Emerica footwear holiday always June 21st. Over time it became so motivational to skateboarding culture and those that support it, it’s become our own national holiday. We are happy to put it down for our scene and host an all-day solid session Wednesday, June 20th, 2018 2-9pm here at Southside Skatepark.

This Year Marks Southside Skatepark’s 24th Year Supporting Skateboarding
Go Skate Day is a time to get out on your skateboard with your friends. Most of you are always out skateboarding and that’s awesome. The difficult part is getting everyone together in one place at one time. Southside Skatepark is offering a totally free session for the entire day June 20th to bring everyone together in hopes of a great time. We also plan on providing free food most likely around 7 pm during the Nightmare Before Go Skate Day event. Naturally, we hope you’ll thank us by maybe purchasing some stuff from the snack bar, or getting some product from the shop. We will be running an In-Store Sale all day to help elevate your experience and good time here at Southside. We look forward to seeing you with all of your friends for Nightmare Before Go Skate Day here at Southside. This year marks Southside Skatepark’s 24th year supporting the skateboarding scene in Houston and surrounding areas. Thank you for all of your support!
