Let’s Get It! April 2nd 2022 at Southside Skatepark
Indoor Skatepark in Houston, Texas will host the 11th Annual Old Man Bowl Jam running 5 age groups. While the event’s focus is on the older skateboarder we are including a Destroyers 19 and Under and Annihilators 20-29 year old group to compliment previous year formats. This brings two age groups to ride before the established Mini-Masters 30-39 year old class, Masters 40-49 year old group, and Grand Masters 50 and older. In the first ten years, the event has grown significantly and after a two year hiatus from all events we know people are stoked to get back together! Call it a Skatepark of Houston revival or just an all-out good time with your friends who you almost never see anymore. Whatever it is we happy to have it back at Southside Skatepark.

Both the Dog Bone Bowl and Federal Stone Broken Capsule have been re-sheeted with fresh Baltic birch in preparation for this event. Registration is easy and you can complete it on our new online store southsideskateshop.com. We believe that the skateboarders that literally paved the way for skateboarding today should be recognized for their contributions. The goal of the weekend is to bring them together to ride and remember the impact they made as they literally blazed a trail for today’s skateboarder.
