Red Bull Skateboarding will be on hand here at Southside Skatepark Friday October 27, 2017. Bring canned goods to support Houston area food pantries. Witness first hand the skateboarding of Torey Pudwill, Chris Russell, Jagger Eaton and Alex Sorgente 5-8pm! We are so appreciative of the outstanding support of Red Bull Skateboarding and the team riders that are helping make an impact for Hurricane Harvey survivors here in the Houston area. We are looking forward to seeing the skateboarding of these talented skateboarders for ourselves this Friday and then catch up for a meet and greet autograph signing to immediately follow.
Southside Skatepark and Southside Skateshop are excited to host the Red Bull Skateboarding team and naturally thrilled to come together once again in support of the Hurricane Harvey relief effort. A previous Primitive Skateboards canned goods drive demo/signing raised 833 lbs. of non-perishables for area food pantries and we hope to achieve that level of support once again this Friday. Please share this article and turn out in a support of this amazing event. It’s incredible watching young and old come together for a cause we can all get behind, the betterment of our friends and neighbors in need. So this Friday be sure to hit your pantry or local grocery store and grab yourself a bag or two of non-perishable cans and let’s make a half ton or more non-perishables our goal for those in need. How amazing would it be if we raised the additional 1167 lbs. of canned goods this Friday to have donated a total of 1 ton of edible support for Hurricane Harvey survivors.
